Evaluation of Clinical Efficacy of Menotab in Alleviating Symptoms of Menopausal Syndrome: Phase III Open Clinical Trial

A total of 28 postmenopausal women who had menopause of less than 2 years duration with one or other climacteric symptoms, were included in the study. It was observed that maximum number of cases presented with vasomotor instability and psychological symptoms. They were evaluated clinically. Serum hormone levels (FSH, LH, Estradiol, Progesterone) and lipid profile were done at the time of presentation and after 3 months of treatment with Menotab. Menotab was administered orally twice daily for 3 months. The study showed relief of climacteric symptoms in 96.4% of patients following treatment with Menotab.
